Vostok is one of the few (if not the only) watch brands that is widely known outside Eastern Europe. It is generally aknowledged as a «bang for the buck»-brand, as it’s hard to find mechanical watches at this price point that both looks cool and is of good quality. Until now the Vostok dive watches (with rotating bezel) has been most popular, but this model is a serious contender. It is nicknamed «the Vostok Panerai» because of the font on the dial numerals, that bears resemblance to the classic font on Panerai watches. The Vostok Amphibia comes in several dial colors, and the brown dial with the sunburst effect is stunning.
