The Khaki Mechanical is a typical “field watch”, which by definition is a simple military watch. Hamilton has for many decades been among the watch manufacturers that supplies watches to the U.S. military, and this model has much resemblance to the watches used in The Vietnam War. It wears very comfortable on the wrist, the blasted has a width of 38mm and a thickness of 9,5mm. However, it wears bigger than one might think, as the lug-to-lug to lug length of 47mm gives it a large presence on the wrist without feeling bulky. The manually wound movement is extremely reliable, and the lack of date function suites the watch perfectly.
