I love wristwatches – Tudor Heritage Ranger

Ranger 3

Back in 1967, Tudor released the “Tudor Oyster Prince Ranger”. It was a 34mm robust tool watch, with a simple dial and no date, and it can be claimed to be Tudors version of the Rolex Explorer from the same period.

In 2014, Tudor released a modern version of the Ranger, with the full name “Tudor Heritage Ranger”. Watches of this design is often called “field watches”, and many watch brands have their own field watch.

The Heritage Ranger has a more modern size of 41mm, and is either delivered with a bund strap, a more regular brown strap, or a bracelet. No matter which version you choose, they all also come with a woven camouflage nato strap. This is an extremely comfortable strap, that is actually woven in France by the same company that weaves the robes for the vatican.
