For a WIS (Watch Idiot Savant), a Storm watch is a no-go zone. It’s a fashion brand, and the watch is driven by a quartz movement. However, sometimes a watch is just recognized as “nice” by a normal person, even if a watch snob wouldn’t even walk in to a Storm shop.
This watch belongs to a friend of mine, and he is often complimented by it. Somewhere between 20 and 30 times someone has told him that he’s wearing a nice watch. That is 20 to 30 times more than I’ve been complimented on any of my Omegas or IWC…
I guess it owes it’s “popularity” to the very nice blue color, with a brightness that really stands out. Sometimes a watch is just a piece of jewlery.
